Silver & Jasper Pendant

I sculpted this pendant using Argentium sterling silver wire around a red jasper and a leopardskin jasper gemstones.

The red jasper gemstone is about 10mm x 8mm (25mm = 1 inch) and the leopardskin jasper is about 18mm x 13mm. With the sterling silver setting it is about 55mm x 15mm.

Argentium silver is a sterling silver that is extremely resistant to tarnishing due to the infusion of germanium. The beauty of silver in an intricate design without the nasty upkeep and diminished beauty that would come over time with traditional sterling silver.
