Gold & Emerald Tumbled Stone Pendant

This pendant was sculpted using gold filled wire around an emerald tumbled stone. The stone measures approximately 18mm x 18mm (25mm=1 inch) and with the gold setting it measures 37mm x 19mm.

Gold filled wire is NOT the same as gold plated. There is about 100 times more gold than in plated and it will not chip or flake off like the inferior plated will do over time.

The stone is emerald with black biotite. It is as mother nature made it (except for the tumbling and polishing part of course) so it is not the typical cookie cutter size or shape.
